SUMMARY
Assist Accounting Department in a variety of functional accounting activities. Performs a number of ongoing responsibilities in accordance with standard accounting procedures under general supervisor and guidance.
This position is in person Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM***
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Invoice Entry: Accurately enter accounts receivable invoices into various customer portals, including Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, and Bill.com. Recordkeeping: Maintain and update documentation of current processes and procedures related to accounts receivable. Filing: Organize and file physical and electronic documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance. Mail Handling: Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to accounts receivable activities. Collections: Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collection efforts to ensure timely payment. AR Statements: Prepare and send monthly accounts receivable statements to customers. Billing Support: Assist with billing processes as needed, including generating invoices and addressing billing inquiries. Team Assistance: Support team members with various duties and projects to ensure smooth operations within the finance department. Banking: Enter daily bank transactions into accounting system.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Proven experience in an office and/or accounting department Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role. Familiarity with AR systems and customer portals such as Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, and Bill.com Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to ready and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, piece rate, percentages, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
