The Sr. LVN Supervisor will be responsible for:
Providing guidance and support to the medical assistant staff. Performing a variety of patient care activities, such as administering injections and medications, monitoring patients' blood pressure, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and assisting with bathing or dressing. Helping with any problem solving needs that arise for clinic operations. Performing supervisory duties such as time sheet corrections/approvals, scheduling and approving time off, performance evaluations, and interviewing/training staff. This role will also perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Salary Range: $36.49 - $76.05 Hourly Job Qualifications
Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Required: Two years of work experience in providing primary care. California State Licensed Vocational Nurse (IV certified). Phlebotomy certification and BCLS/BLS card. Skill in performing phlebotomy and skill in administering injections and immunizations. Effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and skill at working independently and prioritizing assignments. Ability to pass a Basic Health Worker course and obtain certificate. Ability to prioritize and follow through on assignments, and work in a busy setting with conflicting demands. Knowledge of health education, public health, and medical terminology. Supervisory experience and effective oral and written bilingual English/Spanish communication skills is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
