Position Overview We're seeking a
Senior Manager, Data Science
to join our U.S. Data Science team, leading advanced analytics projects that support Marketing, Sales, Access, and Digital strategies. This role blends technical expertise, commercial insight, and healthcare innovation-ideal for a hands-on data scientist who can build sophisticated models, translate insights into action, and influence high-level business decisions. You'll work with unique biopharma datasets, develop predictive models, measure digital ROI, build marketing mix frameworks, and explore the use of generative AI-all in a compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling
Design, build, and deploy predictive models for HCP targeting, patient adherence, sales forecasting, and resource allocation. Lead Next Best Action (NBA) strategies to enhance HCP engagement and omnichannel experiences. Develop
Patient 360
models and lead generation algorithms using patient-level and specialty pharmacy data. Apply ML, NLP, and large language models (LLMs) to analyze unstructured data such as CRM notes and field reports. Marketing Mix, ROI & Measurement
Build and maintain marketing mix models (MMM) and budget optimization tools. Conduct ROI analyses and scenario planning for DTC, HCP, field, and digital investments. Integrate digital and offline data for unified marketing effectiveness measurement. Develop attribution frameworks for complex patient/HCP decision cycles. Experimentation & Optimization
Design and execute A/B tests, geo-lift studies, and campaign holdouts. Collaborate with digital teams on tagging and tracking strategies. Use analytics to simulate budget reallocations and maximize ROI. Data Integration & Compliance
Ingest and harmonize large datasets from APLD, PlanTrak, claims, EMR/EHR, CRM, and syndicated sources (IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Veeva). Ensure all data practices comply with HIPAA, GDPR, and company policies. Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver analytics solutions. Translate technical insights into actionable strategies for executives. Mentor junior team members and present at leadership forums or industry events.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in data science/advanced analytics, preferably in pharma, biotech, or healthcare. Strong skills in Python, R, SQL, and platforms such as Snowflake. Proven expertise in MMM, predictive modeling, and digital ROI measurement. Familiarity with datasets like APLD, PlanTrak, and specialty pharmacy claims. Ability to clearly communicate complex analytics to non-technical audiences. Preferred:
Experience applying generative AI and NLP in commercial settings. Knowledge of patient journey analytics, launch planning, and omnichannel strategy. Proficiency with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
