Job Summary: Nurse Manager has administrative and clinical responsibility for nursing staff on the assigned units. This professional promotes excellence in patient care, facilitates staff development, maintains safety standards and demonstrates clinical and administrative competence. Responsibilities: Responsible for delivery of patient care that promotes safety, quality improvement, and well being of all patients throughout the unit. Maintains open communication with all staff. Assumes the responsibility of employee engagement, implementing retention strategies that promote a positive, nurturing, and professional work environment. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of successful practice as a Registered Nurse. Supervisory experience preferred.
