What You Will Do

JOB SUMMARY

Aligned to the Unify Functional areas (GSC - MM, PM, PP, LE, eWM, QM, Finance/Procurement & Commercial), this role is responsible for supporting the Unify programme with Data Migration related deliverables within the Data Tower. With strong SAP and Data expertise acting as the connection point into the process towers, and the business. Helping to identify transformation rules and supporting business source to target mappings. Working to define the data migration strategy for objects in respective area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Works closely with the Functional Teams to understand 'To Be' Requirements

Works closely with the Business Data Owners and SME's to understand business data

Ensures the data migration requirements are captured in the Data Object Structure (DOS) and Data Definition and Migration (DDAM) documents

Confirms the data migration strategy with the Functional Teams

Responsible for driving migration activities for data objects in respective functional area

Complete the old to new field value mappings, liaising with business and functional team and aligns on available configurations

Supports Data Mapping Workshops providing knowledge and guidance on source to target mappings and transformation rules

Supports the business with validations, providing guidelines

Coordinates and supports the business on work to resolve defects

Leads and documents outcomes of deep-dive sessions to clarify data transformation logic and system dependencies

Collaborates with technical teams to ensure data integration aligns with MDG and interface architecture

Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Expert in SAP Data Migration for a defined set of objects for a functional area.

Understand data dependencies and cross functional requirements.

Ability to actively participate in process design workshops and draw out the key data design principles and elements that support the process and technical landscape.

Ensures data migration requirements are captured in DOS and DDAM, identifying only fields required to support the 'to be' process, including mandatory, business required, and conditional fields.

Ensures data migration requirements include interface fields and MDG fields and standards.

Primary focus on functional end to end data migration requirements.

Proficient in data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment using tools such as Syniti, SAP DS, or Informatica

Effective communicator able to translate complex data needs into actionable plans across business and IT teams

Experience in driving continuous data quality improvements and aligning with enterprise data governance standards

A minimum of 5 years similar experience working on a large-scale project.
