Join our school nutrition team as a Delivery Driver and play a vital role in ensuring students receive the meals they need to learn and thrive! MondayFriday (No Nights or Weekends!) Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies on campus. Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery. Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition. Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Follow all local driving laws and school district policies. Family-friendly schedule done by mid-afternoon! No weekends, evenings, or holidays. Be a valued member of a mission-driven team. Help support school meals that power learning every day. Independent work with supportive team connections. We're looking for a clean, valid drivers license and a safe driving record. Dependability and strong attention to detail. Comfort with lifting and moving supplies. A proactive attitude and willingness to follow safety guidelines. Professionalism when interacting at school sites. Education: High School diploma required. Certifications: Clean unblemished drivers license required. Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: Speak, read and write in English required. 1 year driving in professional role required. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, walk, talk and hear. Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Be sitting driving in vehicle. Be standing on feet when not in vehicle, in addition to walking back and forth. Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is frequently necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position may require extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites. Work environment: The work is performed primarily in the vehicle assigned to her/him. Work requires movement in and out of store rooms and freezers. Exposure to extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
