Under the direct supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, technicians are specially trained in the safe handling and administration of radionuclides for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes as well as the operation of specially designated imaging and computer systems. These skills are utilized to perform various exams for the purpose of diagnosis interpretation by the Radiologist and Cardiologists. All individuals, within the scope of their position, are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. Regardless of position, every job contributes to the challenge of providing health care. There is an ongoing responsibility for ensuring that the values of respect, compassion, justice, hospitality, holistic approach, stewardship, and collaboration are present in our interactions with one another in the service we provide. Recruitment requirements include: Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) Certification and/or CNMT (Certification with Nuclear Medicine Board) Experience with SPECT systems, cardiac imaging, and computer acquisition and processing. Must be available to rotate "on call" evenings, weekends, and holidays. CPR Certified License and regulatory requirements include: A.R.R.T.
