Microbiology Lab Tech (Cosmetics)
Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality personal care products is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to join their team in Pomona, CA. Pay: $20-23/hr. Shift: 1st shift: Monday-Friday 5:30am starting time and 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 1pm start time (start times may fluctuate) Location: Pomona, CA Contract to hire Job Duties:
Collect samples throughout manufacturing floor. Preparation of samples for microbiology testing. Label specimens accurately and distribute them to the appropriate department. Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies. Perform quality control duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager. Understand, exercise and monitor all GMP and safety requirements and procedures in the work environment. Support other areas of QC as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred or High school diploma/GED required with 2 years exp Require 1-2 years of formal laboratory experience. Wet chemistry experience. Able to easily understand complex instructions. Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion.
