Warehouse Production Associates
Distribution employees are assigned tasks within the normal operation of a distribution center. The assigned tasks are repetitive in nature and acceptable proficiency can normally be attained within a few days. One is normally assigned to a specific task's area within the production flow of the garments. The various task's areas are explained separately. Due to varying warehouse production requirements incumbents may be instructed by a member of the management team to assume tasks not normally assigned to the incumbent. Essential functions include: Perform the assigned tasks in a proficient manner. Maintain high quality standards on all work. Maintain a clean and hazard free work area. Follow all company and work rules. Support an environment of continuous improvement. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Descriptions of various tasks include: Packer Responsible for packing and placing packing slip in customer orders. Inspects some merchandise for conformance to company standards. Audits some merchandise to ensure it matches customer order. Identify and include inserts in shipping containers. Perform the assigned tasks in a proficient manner. Maintain high quality standards on all work. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Follow all company and work rules. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Support an environment of continuous improvement. Workflow Coordinator Help with any and all inventory adjustments. Wave order in WMOS. Bridge orders from Phast to WMOS. Receiving and bridge 9989 orders for VAS. Assist and backup DC Functions. Assist and backup VAS Functions. Assist and help with bol for LTL freight. Shipping/Receiver Create and maintain customer database. Interface with AUCA internal customers. Assist customer service by tracking packages/shipments. Perform general clerical duties. Package by hand a wide variety of products. Use hand or mail handling machines. Maintains department quality and production standards. Daily/weekly upkeep of equipment and facility. Perform all tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Picker Process online orders. Pick merchandise as specified by RF Device. Pick accurately in a timely manner. Perform the assigned tasks in a proficient manner. Maintain high quality standards on all work. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Follow all company and work rules. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Support an environment of continuous improvement. Stocker Stocking active pick locations. Stock accurately in a timely manner. Using a pallet jack, moves pallets of stock. Using a razor knife, cuts cases open. Brings any nonconforming cases to the front. Perform the assigned tasks in a proficient manner. Maintain high quality standards on all work. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Follow all company and work rules. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Support an environment of continuous improvement. Working environment includes exposure to adverse temperatures and physical activities such as lifting, reaching, bending, walking, sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs. Without assistance. Tight deadlines that may require overtime are required. Overtime may be required. Notification of overtime may occur the same day that the overtime is required. Minimum qualifications include: Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs 8-10hrs in a day. If applicable - Able to be forklift certified. RF scanner experience preferred. Computer experience to include Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to multi-task. Detail oriented. Good organizational skills. Excellent attendance and performance.
