Server Position
The primary purpose of the Server is to create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests while in the dining room. The Server will report to the Chef Manager and follow policies and procedures set by Lockwood Management. Typical duties include: Following established dining room practices to provide high quality service to residents and guests during meal services and special functions. Creating and maintaining a customer-centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members, and fellow community associates. Delivering meals to resident apartments when necessary. Ensuring all meal courses are accurately plated, professionally served, and cleared according to Lockwood standards. Performing shift duties according to the dining handbook, this includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing and putting away dishes, prepping food or other items for the next day. Must be able to relate to senior citizens in a courteous, understanding, and cooperative manner. Capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing a 15 pound tray.
