Interactive Teller
The Interactive Teller will be responsible for providing a positive customer experience, through accurate, professional and exceptional service. The primary function will be conducting banking transactions through the use of video and telecommunication equipment, specifically Interactive Teller Machines. The employee should have knowledge of all retail products and service while having a focus on customer satisfaction and retention. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Verifies receipt and payouts on cash transactions, handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers. Sets up, closes and balances teller station via interactive teller machine (ITM). This includes running and submitting system reports. Assists customers with inquiries via the video function of the ITM. Cross sells bank products and services. Follows limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness. Adheres to bank policies and procedures. Scans bank documents. Exercises sound judgement when applying holds and making check cashing decisions. Assists other interactive tellers with decision making within their authority limits. Adheres to work schedule. Must be flexible in availability for work schedule. Maintains positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement. Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature. Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Not indicated.
