We are looking for a dedicated Systems Administrator to oversee and optimize server infrastructures with a focus on Microsoft technologies. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to work in Fayetteville, Arkansas, contributing to the reliability and security of critical IT systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and data backup solutions, with a willingness to adapt to healthcare IT systems. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure their security, performance, and reliability. Provide basic support for Linux systems as necessary. Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including domain architecture and roles. Implement and oversee data backup solutions, particularly using Veeam. Support integration and maintenance of backup platforms such as Dell Data Protection, Rubrik, and Tivoli. Monitor server performance, apply updates, and address system vulnerabilities. Collaborate with various teams to meet infrastructure and operational needs. Create and maintain thorough documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting. Stay informed on emerging technologies and propose system improvements. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience in server administration, focusing on Windows environments. Basic proficiency with Linux for system support. Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies; VMware knowledge is not required. Hands-on experience with Veeam backup and recovery solutions. Familiarity with backup platforms like Tivoli, Dell Data Protection, and Rubrik. Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory, including its roles and components.
