PRE-SCREEN QUESTIONS
Have you worked in an IT department? If so, for how long?
Have you had direct external client interaction? If so, for how long?
Do you have experience presenting materials over the phone or via video conference to external audiences, and updating those materials on the fly during the presentation?
Do you have experience writing business requirements, functional requirements, and low-level technical requirements for the same deliverables? If yes, please describe.
Do you have experience documenting post-implementation/project activities?
Are you a self-starter?
Do you have experience researching to assist with building out an RD? This may require reviewing internal documentation and asking questions to business partners for assistance.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To lead the business analysis efforts for implementations and large, multi-line projects; to review, analyze, and document internal and client user needs; and to provide mentorship and leadership within the business analysis team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads requirements management for large projects including new client implementations and strategic initiatives; devises and executes requirements management plans; takes ownership of the business analysis role throughout the project. Identifies stakeholders, initiates and facilitates meetings, works with project managers, clients, and internal teams to understand software requirements, and produces various documentation such as process diagrams, mock-ups, and wireframes. Meets deadlines, manages work to timelines, and mentors team members. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties as assigned, supports quality programs, and travels as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a computer science-related field. Six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements is strongly preferred. Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of third-party claims management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytical skills, organizational skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, self-motivation, teamwork, initiative, and ability to meet performance standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
