The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role involves crafting classic and innovative cocktails, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring responsible alcohol serviceall while embodying Hyatt's commitment to personalized service and warm hospitality. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and Hyatt standards Interact with guests to take orders, offer recommendations, and provide an engaging bar experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including glassware, tools, and equipment Verify age requirements and adhere to all responsible alcohol service procedures Handle payment transactions accurately using POS systems Restock supplies and assist with inventory control Communicate effectively with servers and team members to ensure seamless service Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a high-volume setting Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails Ability to remain calm and focused during busy periods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must possess or obtain a valid Washoe County Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handler Card Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs Full-Time Colleague Benefits Include
