The IAR Senior Data Analyst is responsible for extracting, processing, analyzing, and reporting on data to produce rigorous, actionable insights and research. They establish and maintain strong relationships with peers and leaders across IAR, Program Development, and Data Engineering. They perform ad hoc analyses, build and maintain standard reports and data visualizations, and deliver information and insights through various methods and media that privilege data storytelling and compress time-to-action. Analyze course-level performance to surface improvement opportunities and equity gaps Build dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI for internal academic and product teams Translate business and academic needs into clear technical requirements Use SQL to manage and extract insights from complex, multi-source data environments Partner with Data Engineering to resolve data quality issues and optimize pipelines Present findings to cross-functional teams and leadership, adapting to technical and non-technical audiences Document logic, sources, and insight history to support transparency and scale What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related field 5+ years of experience in data analysis, institutional research, or applied analytics Expert SQL skills including joins, CTEs, aggregation, performance tuning, and data transformation Experience using Tableau or Power BI to build reports and identify...
