Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Longs, South Carolina. This position starts as part-time and will transition into a permanent role, offering flexibility with work hours. As a contract to permanent opportunity, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong bookkeeping and accounting expertise who thrives in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and general ledger maintenance. Record journal entries and maintain detailed records of debits, credits, and account reconciliations. Utilize accounting softwares to streamline financial operations. Assist in budgeting processes and provide technical support for accounting-related tasks. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax documents and compliance with governmental regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement efficient office processes. Analyze accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial data. Requirements: Strong knowledge of financial concepts, such as double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation. Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for account analysis and financial reporting. Familiarity with payroll systems and budgeting processes is preferred. Knowledge of public accounting practices or non-profit accounting is a plus.
