Government Employee Insurance Company (GEICO) is looking for a Senior .NET Developer. This position is located at 4608 Willard Ave., Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Duties include: Engage in cross-functional collaboration within an Agile environment. Participate in design sessions with peers and complete code reviews. Utilize developer tooling across the software development life cycle to perform advanced-level .NET application design, implementation, and maintenance activities. Diagnose and correct application and infrastructure issues. Mentor and support engineers at all junior levels. Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams. Occasional on-call for production support 24x7. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. May work remotely but report to HQ location in Chevy Chase, MD. The salary range is $97,157 to $185,000. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 2 years of relevant experience in software development within a .NET framework. DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, Azure DevOps Operational Framework, and at least one of the following: open source frameworks, .NET CORE, ASP.NET, Angular or Express. OR 4 years of relevant experience in software development within a .NET framework. DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, Azure DevOps Operational Framework, and at least one of the following: open source frameworks, .NET CORE, ASP.NET, Angular or Express.
