Job Title: Full Time Driver
Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons of all ages with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for adolescents, young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). We are looking for an individual to work full time at our Rockville location. Must be willing and available to work any holiday (including Christmas and/or Thanksgiving). Responsibilities: Transport patients to various appointments as dictated by the program schedule or as designated by individual patient needs. Maintain positive interactions while monitoring and directing patient behavior. Maintain therapeutic environment during transport. Communicate any and all pertinent information regarding the patients to the counselors. Report all unusual incidents on problematic circumstances to the counselors. Requirements: Must have valid driver's license with less than 2 points. High school diploma or equivalent. 2 or more years of experience working with children with disabilities, substance abuse patients, or mental health patients. CPR Certification is a bonus.
