Paralegal Estate and Wealth Planning

Prominent law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals is seeking an experienced Estate & Wealth Planning Paralegal to join its Charlotte, NC office. This position will involve administration of estates, preparing gift and estate tax returns, and other team projects This is a direct hire position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Abides by the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct. Drafts and/or prepares documents (e.g., federal estate and gift tax returns, probate documents, estate accountings, estate planning documents). Reviews, proofs, revises, and organizes documents in in estate and trust administration matters. Schedules and participates in meetings or conferences with clients. Provides analysis and input regarding the development of strategies. Prepares estate filings, and other court documents Regular and in-person attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this interactive position. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Prior experience in estate administration required, including experience with the preparation of complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high net worth individuals. Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently on multiple outstanding matters, and be able to maintain a strong substantive understanding of the legal aspects of their work and related documentation.
