Salary: $139,000/Yearly

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for individuals with mental health conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications according to best practices and state guidelines.

Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based techniques.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Assist with Ketamine and Spravato® treatments as part of our clinic’s integrative offerings.

Qualifications

One of the following:

Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Master’s degree and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience

Current licensure to practice in the state of Iowa

Experience in psychiatry or mental health settings

Interest in or experience with ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) and/or functional medicine is preferred

Experience in systems-based practice, emergency medicine, geriatrics, or working with developmental disabilities is a plus

Proficiency in vital signs assessment and basic life support

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (we cannot sponsor employment visas)

Pay Range: $120,000-$139,000/Yearly

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
