Company Description RED STAR OUTDOOR is a largest independent provider of billboard advertising in Chicago, located in River North on LaSalle and Chicago Ave . We are a 6 person Team.
Description Position is for a full-time, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant/Social Media Team Member at RED STAR OUTDOOR ADVERTISING. The role involves providing administrative support, handling communications and billing, customer support and assisting in day-to-day tasks. This is in addition to collaborating and creating content on Social Media.
The ideal candidate MUST be organized and exhibit excellent communication skills, if you are not organized do not apply! Looking for someone with the tools to take charge and meet tight deadlines which will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role between 3 departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist multiple departments-Sales, Real Estate, Accounting, Social Media Handle phone calls, emails, and internal communications Schedule installations of Billboards, and Social Media Posts Assist with data entry, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks Provide general support to the team
Qualifications ORGANIZATION IS THE #1 SKILL YOU MUST POSSESS PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO CREATION experience (TIK/TOK AND INSTAGRAM) Can be Personal Experience is a plus Administrative Assistance Skills Excellent Communication skills Proficient with Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign) 1-2 years of full-time work experience a plus
Social Media & Content: Collaborate on the creation and scheduling of social media content Assist with capturing and editing photos/videos for posts and campaigns Monitor social media channels and engage with followers Help track analytics and performance metrics Stay up to date on trends and suggest new content ideas
Salary and Company Benefits Salary: $48,000 - $52,000 (based on experience) Full time IN-OFFICE Salaried position, In-Office Hours 9-5 M-F Medical Insurance allowance after 90 days Paid Vacation time Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays
Must be comfortable with Dogs, as we have a team member (with 4 legs) that is in the office each day
