As a

Research Nurse Coordinator , you’ll play a key role in the coordination and execution of clinical research studies. You will be the vital link between research participants, principal investigators, study sponsors, and our interdisciplinary care teams. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate clinical study activities to ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and participant safety. Act as a liaison between study participants, investigators, and research staff. Educate patients and families on study protocols, clinical conditions, and disease processes. Schedule and manage research participant visits and follow-ups. Monitor and document adverse events and ensure proper reporting. Collaborate with clinical teams to safely and effectively collect and document research data. Present study information to interdisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with research goals. Triage participant concerns by phone, providing appropriate clinical support.

Qualifications: Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred). Active RN license in the State of California.

Experience: Research Nurse Coordinator I : 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least

1 year in a research setting

(e.g., coordinating trials, working with protocols, engaging with IRBs, etc.).

Research Nurse Coordinator II : 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least

2 years in research setting , ideally within an academic medical center or industry-sponsored trial environment.

Experience may include: Informed consent processes Protocol development and study start-up Clinical trial data entry and quality assurance Regulatory submissions and sponsor interactions Monitoring and documentation of patient safety and compliance
