We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Construction Project Manager

to lead water and wastewater treatment facility projects in the Detroit area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, and regulatory compliance. This role involves overseeing all phases of construction, from pre-construction planning through project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment construction projects. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports. Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptly. Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in water/wastewater treatment. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites in the Detroit area.
