If so, we’re seeking an Overhead Contact System (OCS) Engineer who will be responsible for the design of catenary systems for high-speed rail, commuter rail, light rail, and streetcar systems throughout the United States. This position can be based anywhere in the northeast U.S. but will require the ability to travel when needed.

By working and being a lead on a team, you’ll interact with other Jacobs’ engineers throughout the company, engineers from other firms, and project staff from various rail agencies on OCS designs. You’d be able to showcase your business acumen by assisting the development of initial design concepts and labor estimates for proposals.

We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
