Job Description: We are looking for an Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. The Cyber Security Systems Engineer assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle. Contributes to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and networking operations. As a Cyber Security Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our security infrastructure and ensuring a secure network. Additional Program Details We are also seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support similar functions, focusing on security assessment and authorization activities. Capabilities & Requirements Minimum of 16 years' experience supporting the customer's A&A projects. Strong multi-tasking, communication, and facilitation skills; comfortable at all levels from developer to senior staff. Knowledge of complex network environments involving shared networks and multiple security enclaves. Ability to translate technical implementation details into understandable security language. Experience documenting security controls and artifacts supporting RMF and ICD 503 Security Accreditation efforts. Ability to support A&A reviews, document security plans, and coordinate with various teams and security organizations. Additional Requirements Previous ISSE or ISSO experience supporting the customer. Experience with security tools such as Xacta, RoadRunner, Rapid 7, WebInspect, App Detective, and Splunk. Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure), virtualization (VDI, VMWare). Certifications like CISSP, GSLC, AWS Security Specialty are preferred. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
