As a Full Stack Developer at Amynta Dealer Solutions, you will play a key role in developing scalable software solutions across the business applications within our business. You'll be responsible for building end-to-end business unit applications and creating seamless, user-friendly front-end experiences.
You'll work independently while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including insurance experts, project managers, and IT security professionals, to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
Your code will integrate intuitive user experiences with complex backend services and APIs, while optimizing performance across the application stack. You'll have the opportunity to scale and improve existing platform capabilities as well as innovate and deliver new features that benefit both the company and our customers.
What you'll be working on:

  • Analyze user requirements and define the scope of report development projects
  • Design, develop and implement report layouts and data models
  • Develop complex SQL queries to extract data from specified database
  • Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Modify existing reports and develop new reports per the business requirements
  • Work closely with team members from IT development team to integrate reports into larger systems
  • Document each aspect of the report development process for future reference and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support and training to users on report generation tools
  • Partner with IT to ensure data security and compliance is aligned to the organization's policies and procedures
  • Stay current with the latest reporting technologies and techniques
  • Deliver Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to recommend tactical and strategic initiatives to enable business capabilities and align to objectives
  • Work with IT Support teams to debug and resolve issues, and act as the technical liaison for incidents
  • Provide planning and implementation leadership identifying opportunities for automation and service quality improvement.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and growth providing training and education to the business and IT on data analytics and reporting technologies, best practices, standards, and patterns
Valued Skills and Experience:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience using SQL, JavaScript, Python, or Java
  • Strong skills in writing technical specifications, documenting systems, and troubleshooting applications
  • Experience deploying and managing full-stack enterprise applications
  • Solid understanding of APIs, web applications, and service development with a focus on scalable architecture
  • Ability to identify and propose improvements using performance metrics and technical analysis
  • Prior experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry is a plus
