Salary: $90,792 to $121,000 DOQ. This position is exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime pay. Job Responsibilities: Identifies, evaluates, recommends and procures information and data systems and network hardware, software, supplies and other electronic devices, user hardware and software, communication systems, facility security and monitoring systems including fire, security and surveillance systems and projectors, fax and electronic conferencing devices and services. Manages agency-wide internet, intranet and social media and public website systems and services, networks and e-mail. Provides respectful supervision to highly technical and professional IT Engineer(s). Develops processes for and ensures the timely, accurate and best-practice implementation of installation, repair and maintenance of system components, data back-up and security practices. Develops, recommends and implements IT- and security-related security policies, procedures and inventory tracking for the agency. Provides IT-related training and resources to employees and workgroups. Ensures that local and cloud-based IT infrastructure help the organization to accomplish goals and strategic initiatives. Provides strategic guidance, planning and implementation to move agency towards a sound information technology future. Prepares and manages the IT budget. Serves as the primary contact for and contract administrator of IT vendors and independent Contractors. Is a member of the Senior and Leadership Teams and leads or is a member of teams that address agency-wide issues and projects. Requirements: Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License. Must pass a physical and communicable diseases exam. Must be allowed to work in NC childcare setting. Education and Experience: Requires graduation from a regionally or CHEA accredited four-year college with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field and, at least, 8 years in Information Technology or Information Systems or Security management as a director, network, systems or operations manager.
