Locum Radiologist - Onsite Reads with Light IR & Occasional
About the Opportunity:
Hospital is seeking a Radiologist for ongoing locum coverage. The primary function of this position is to provide onsite interpretation of a variety of imaging studies and availability for light Interventional Radiology procedures. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday day shifts, with the possibility of remote reads for the hospital as needed and potentially one day per week dedicated to procedures at the hospital.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing onsite interpretation of a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies.
- Being available to perform light Interventional Radiology procedures primarily during the weekday shifts.
- Performing remote reads for the hospital as needed, outside of standard clinic hours.
- Potentially performing procedures at the hospital one day per week (schedule to be determined).
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the PACS system.
- Communicating effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Primary Function: Onsite diagnostic reads and availability for light IR.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift, with as-needed remote reads and possibly one day per week for hospital procedures.
Remote Reads: As needed for the hospital.
Hospital Procedures: Possibly one day per week onsite.
Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Radiology.
