About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient cardiology team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This practice offers comprehensive, non-invasive cardiovascular care focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of heart and vascular conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Job Description General Summary Under limited supervision, provides an advanced level of comprehensive health care to a specific patient population in collaboration with medical staff. Follows established applicable nursing and medical standards, procedures and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other support staff. Provide outpatient cardiovascular consultations and manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia. Interpret and order diagnostic testing, including EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter/event monitors, stress testing, and vascular studies. Conduct hospital follow-ups, pre-operative clearances, and both new and returning patient visits. Educate patients on lifestyle changes, medications, risk reduction, and disease prevention. Independently run treadmill and nuclear stress tests. Support & Environment: Work alongside experienced cardiologists, fellow NPs/PAs, nurses, and MAs. Access to advanced office equipment including EKGs, echocardiography machines, ambulatory monitors, and more. Strong administrative support for scheduling, referrals, and care coordination. Apply today and bring your heart to our team. Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing and completion of an accredited NP program. Current NP and RN licensure in Maryland. Active DEA and CDS eligibility. BLS certification (required prior to patient care). Minimum of 2 years of NP experience preferred; cardiology background is a plus but not required.
