We are seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join our Neonatology-Perinatology Department. You will be part of a highly skilled team, providing the highest level of care for critically ill and premature newborns within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU offers a 100-bed capacity, with 75 Level IV beds and 25 Level III beds, all in private rooms, ensuring optimal patient care and family comfort. You will also provide coverage at the Akron Childrens Summa NICU with a 22 bed Level III NICU. Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert care to sick and premature newborns in both the Level IV and Level III NICU settings. Attend and manage high-risk deliveries. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for extremely premature, surgical, cardiac, and ECMO patients, with a focus on optimizing patient outcomes. Collaborate with a growing multidisciplinary team, currently including 8 neonatologists and 40 neonatal nurse practitioners Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatology. Ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license. Experience in neonatal intensive care and high-risk deliveries. Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
