Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity PA

This position is authorized to provide the right candidate with a sign-on bonus, pay for moving expenses to the Wilkes-Barre, PA area, and pay up to $200,000 toward education costs In addition, salary can go above the maximum amount shown if candidate meets annual performance metrics. The Cardiologist (Non-Invasive) will be a vital part of the Wilkes-Barre VA Healthcare System and will provide outpatient and inpatient consultative service. Core Cardiology Procedures Cardiac stress testing Cardioversion Echocardiogram interpretation Holter monitor interpretation Pericardiocentesis (emergency) Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement Tilt table testing Use of thrombolytic agents Final Interpretation of EKGs Fluoroscopy Supplemental Cardiology Procedures Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) with interpretation TEE with cardioversion Nuclear cardiology studies Coronary CTA Administration and management of Gp IIb/IIIa, vasoactive, and thrombolytic agents
