Nocturnist needed at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist - Davie Medical Center NC

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Nocturnist Physician to join our growing team at Davie Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an open ICU concept and manage 20-26 hospitalist beds. Position Highlights: Responsibilities: Oversee all admitted hospitalist patients overnight. Respond to and manage Rapid Responses and Codes. Assess patients, develop treatment plans for acute events or changes in status. Coordinate with nursing staff, addressing concerns and questions. Provide thorough hand-off/sign-out at shift conclusion to day team. Determine and arrange for transfers to tertiary hospitals when necessary, including contacting PAL line for support.
