We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist III to join our team at the Austin State Supported Living Center. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced psychiatric assessment and treatment to SSLC residents. Here are some key responsibilities: Conducting psychiatric assessments and administering specialized treatments Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop individualized treatment plans Leading discussions and implementing necessary changes for quality care Participating in Peer Review Committees and other clinically related committees Supervising staff and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to telework based on local needs. To excel in this role, you should possess: Knowledge of general medicine, psychiatry, and behavior treatment principles Skills in patient care, psychiatric diagnostics, and electronic healthcare systems Ability to work independently, manage multiple medications, and lead a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills If you are a licensed medical doctor with Board Certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, have experience working with mental illness and intellectual disabilities, and meet the initial screening criteria, we encourage you to apply.
