Job Summary/Main Purpose of Role:
The Endovascular Franchise is a key part of Vascular's business, generating approximately $700 million in revenue, with strong growth prospects. This franchise is supported by a top-tier portfolio and offers global expansion opportunities, aiming to innovate and lead in the market.
This role covers Upstream and Downstream Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Digital Enablers—essential components in evolving the franchise. Success requires strategic vision and execution to enhance engagement, adoption, and market leadership.
Endovascular interventions are rapidly advancing, with Abbott leading through innovations like Esprit BTK, aiming to improve patient care in Peripheral Vascular Disease by reducing amputations and improving outcomes.
The Vascular business is at a pivotal point, with opportunities driven by new product launches and global expansion. The goal is to accelerate growth, expand impact, and shape the future of vascular intervention.

Key Responsibilities:
- Make strategic, tactical, and operational decisions at the franchise level.
- Apply market knowledge to plan, execute, and meet business goals.
- Manage the lifecycle of the franchise and category, from insights to product launch.
- Monitor competitors and inform strategic decisions.
- Anticipate market demands and create new markets, supporting product development.
- Use research and feedback to develop profitable, differentiated products and guide development teams.
- Lead R&D and support teams through development, considering customer, financial, and timeline impacts.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, including segmentation, positioning, reimbursement, and marketing mix.
- Own the product brand strategy and messaging.
- Support successful product launches and post-launch activities.
- Participate in strategic planning and portfolio management.
- Hire, develop, and coach high-performing teams.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher preferred.
- 10+ years in B2B marketing within healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and recommend insights confidently.
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic plans.
- Financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Experience in talent development and team leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
The base pay range is $193,300 to $386,700, with variations by location.
