Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained or have demonstrated cardiac-capable experience with TEE. Our cohesive anesthesia team values respect, communication, collaboration, and a fun working environment.
Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Care Team Model: 4 General Anesthesiologists, 2 CV Anesthesiologists, and 15 CRNAs
- Case mix includes Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Gynecology, Thoracic; no Obstetrics, Trauma, or Pediatrics
- Facilities include 10 main ORs, Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites, and 6 NORA sites
- Average annual cardiac cases: 150, including CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, AAA repair, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, AFIB
- Schedule: 45-50 hours/week, beeper call with 1 weekend/month, 10 calls/month, 30-minute response, minimal callback rate
