Responsibilities of the CRNA

• Location: St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY
• Facilities: 8 ORs, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, 1 NORA; 422 beds; Level 1 Trauma
• Care team model
• Shifts: Weekdays - 8 or 10 hours (7 am – 3 pm or 7 am – 5 pm); Night shifts - 8 or 12 hours (11 pm – 7 am or 7 pm – 7 am); OB coverage with 12-hour days, nights, or 24-hour shifts
• Approximately 5,100 cases per year, including general, trauma, ENT, breast, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, bariatrics, thoracic, gastro, colorectal, endo, dental

Requirements of the CRNA

• Active state license
• NBCRNA certification
• ACLS and PALS certification
