Piedmont Healthcare is seeking physicians who are board certified (or eligible) in pulmonary and critical care medicine.

Our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is dedicated to developing nationally recognized practices focused on disease prevention and treatment through quality patient care, education, research, and professional development.

Our team collaborates to develop long-term treatment programs and responds to medical needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

We are proud to be Georgia’s first designated Care Center Network awarded by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Our Advanced Lung Disease program offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and specialty care for complex lung conditions, with a multidisciplinary team trained in evaluation and treatment of advanced lung diseases.

Our critical care specialists are available 24/7 to treat patients in emergencies across various hospital units, ensuring rapid and life-saving care.

Established in 2017, our Interventional Pulmonary program features a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy suite and offers therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including the first endobronchial lung volume reduction valves in Georgia for severe emphysema.

The Pulmonary Division comprises board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff committed to excellence. Our goal is to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care tailored to individual needs, focusing on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, symptom management, and preventive care.

We are seeking qualified candidates for roles in the communities served by Piedmont.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or eligible in pulmonary & critical care, or pulmonary, critical care, and sleep
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia
• Residency and fellowship training in the U.S.
