Job Description Summary

Help us ensure that safe, effective, and innovative treatments reach patients as quickly as possible. The Clinical Program Leader (CPL) / Senior Clinical Program Leader (Senior CPL) will oversee the planning, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials, data collection activities, and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic medical guidance for developing new oncology agents in preclinical and early clinical phases.
  • Evaluate external opportunities for potential business development.
  • Create clinical development strategies that integrate multidisciplinary expertise.
  • Lead Biomedical Research Program Teams through toxicology studies and clinical trials.
  • Support ongoing clinical research, ensuring efficient processing of agreements.
  • Develop and interpret the Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
  • Integrate preclinical data to inform clinical development, including protocol development.
  • Guide the safe, ethical, and compliant conduct of trials, maintaining GCP standards.
  • Collaborate with external experts, investigators, and regulatory authorities; act as a medical monitor; contribute to publications and presentations; mentor colleagues.

Essential Requirements:

  • Located at Cambridge, MA; approximately 10% travel required.
  • Dual posting: Level depends on experience (Clinical Program Leader: 1-3 years; Senior CPL: 3-5+ years).
  • MD or DO with additional lab training; Board certification in Oncology.
  • Knowledge of pharmacokinetics, biostatistics, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong medical/scientific communication skills.
  • Leadership experience and ability to work across multiple indications.
  • Passion for translational science and patient outcomes.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in academic medical centers.
  • PhD degree.

Compensation:

Range for CPL: $152,600 - $283,400; for Senior CPL: $236,600 - $439,400. Final salary depends on various factors. The total package may include bonuses, stock, benefits, and 401(k).
