Talascend is seeking candidates for a JuniorSoftware Tester role with one of the world’s largest technology companies at their facility in Plano, Texas. Overview This role involves executing software tests for mobile devices, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with teams to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, eager to learn, have strong analytical skills and be bilingual in English and Korean. Responsibilities Execute stationary and mobile test cases for development and maintenance projects Create test designs, processes, cases, and documentation Prepare devices for field testing, including software and test tools Conduct testing following set standards and procedures Create or revise test routes based on network updates Detect, track, and analyze software defects Report defects using issue management platforms Provide detailed daily test result reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams Perform testing throughout the software life cycle Requirements US Citizen or Green Card Holder Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 0–3 years of relevant experience Bilingual in English and Korean (Business level communications verbally and in writing) Knowledge of smartphones, operating systems, and mobile wireless telecommunications Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel, about once per quarter for up to a week duration.
