Our Aerospace & Defense business seeks a Manual Machinist to join our team of engineers and production personnel located in Duncan South Carolina. This FAA regulated aerospace and aviation workshop operates to repair and overhaul a variety of parts and equipment from our clients across multiple industry sectors. Qualified applicants must have US citizenship as per FAA regulations. This position is primarily responsible for the setup, programming and operation of all machine shop equipment making tools, fixtures and other materials. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience using conventionally operated milling machines, lathes, surface grinding machines, mills (EDM), etc. Important to note that part of our pre-employment screening process requires ability to pass a lab-based drug screen as per FAA and DOT regulations. Success in this role requires characteristics such as excellent attention to detail, a "can-do" attitude and ability to adhere to important health, safety and environmental compliancy regulations. This position requires the ability to work in a team-based atmosphere, as well as independently.
