Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Location: San Antonio, TX 78229 Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Cath Lab (4 labs) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 8/25/2025 - End: 11/25/2025) Shift: 10-hour day shifts (rotating shift times) Hours per Week: 40 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call Requirement: Yes Float Requirement: As needed within skillset (includes Cath Recovery) Charting System: Cerner EMR Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,420 - $2,600 Cath Lab RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to float to Cath Recovery and other clinical areas as needed Flu and COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exceptions accepted) Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio within the Cath Lab Assist with advanced cardiac and neuro procedures: STEMI, stroke interventions, neuro thrombectomy, Y90 chemo embolization, electrophysiology Afib ablation, PFO closure, LAAO implants, and LVAD support Monitor and respond to patient needs during cardiac procedures Participate in on-call rotation and support during emergencies Float to Cath Recovery and other nursing units as required Document patient care using Cerner EMR system Discover the excitement of San Antonio, Texas - home to the historic River Walk, vibrant arts scene, and a welcoming healthcare community.
