ICU Registered Nurse Job Details Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Mattoon, IL 61938 (Illinois nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 - December 2, 2025) Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-Call: No call required Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880 - $2020 ICU RN Qualifications Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse experience preferred) Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required Completed ICU skills checklist (current within 1 year) Two supervisory references with dates of employment Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Mattoon, IL (local candidates not eligible) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU Conduct comprehensive, age-specific assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial status Perform ongoing assessments and complete required clinical documentation according to healthcare standards Monitor and document patient observations, physical exams, lab/test results, and responses to interventions Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and assist staff in the delivery of patient care as appropriate Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal outcomes Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse in Mattoon, Illinois, and take the next step in your nursing career!
