Description:
Seeking a Level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse for a new facility.
This unit consists of a 15 bed Labor & Delivery area, 20 bed Antepartum, and an 8 bed OB Triage area.
The unit adheres to AWHONN guidelines, providing 1:1 nursing care in active labor and two patients in early, latent labor.
Nurses may serve as charge nurses in both Labor & Delivery and the high-risk unit, as well as baby nurses for deliveries.
Scheduled shifts total 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Orientation consists of two shifts prior to starting.
Commitment to attendance is crucial, with no tolerance for calling in.
