As a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing and repairing the tooling needs of our plant using precision equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders. Your work directly influences product quality, benefiting both internal and external customers. This position is located in Beaver Dam, WI. This is a direct hire position with great benefits and overtime.

2nd Shift
Read and follow written work instructions as provided.
Read and interpret complicated tool drawings.
Fabricate and/or repair tools, fixtures and machine parts
Manufacture quality products to meet customer requirements
Do complicated set ups and operations on machine tools such as lathes, standard and CNC mills and EDMs, grinders, hone, saws, CAD CAM.
Maintain a continuous material flow throughout the Tool & Die Process
Design and fabricate simple or complex jigs and fixtures.
Make decisions using math, charts, tables, formulas, and knowledge of machining techniques and methods.
Other duties assigned or required for the department.
Overtime is required on an as-needed basis.
There is an on-call weekend rotation required to cover manufacturing downtime needs.
Ability to proficiently use precise measuring equipment and gauges and work to extremely close tolerances.
Ability to work with little direct supervision
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to follow safety policies
HS Diploma or GED

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
