Cnc Machinist - Day Shift

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and collaboration. If you're passionate about machining complex, low-volume parts and want to work in a dynamic R&D environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, etc.)
- Work independently to machine parts to tight tolerances
- Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve part machinability and reduce costs
- Perform first/last piece and in-process inspections
- Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvements
- Mentor junior machinists and share your expertise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)
What You Bring:
- 8-10 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent education
- Completed 4-year apprenticeship or 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazak controls
- Ability to adapt to different work centers and changing priorities
- A team-first mindset and strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Exposure to moderate noise and manufacturing environment
- Use of standard safety equipment (provided)
