Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon Opportunity

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon. Join three other orthopedic surgeons in a well-established, busy, hospital-employed, and single-office practice. The surgeons are supported by 1:1 PAs and NPs, skilled anesthesiologists, well-trained surgical technologists, hospitalists, and a nursing staff. A strong orthopedic trauma program with five surgeons complements our practice. American Board-certification/board-eligibility in orthopedics and fellowship training in orthopedic surgery with a focus on foot and ankle are required. Additional Services include on-site X-Ray and MRI at both clinic and hospital, two non-operative sports medicine physicians, one non-operative oncology/complex musculoskeletal medicine physician, ten athletic trainers, dedicated OR block time, state-of-the-art operating theaters, and in-house ancillary support.

Schedule: weekdays 8:00am to 4:30pm (mixed between surgery and clinic) with no ER call responsibility. You will join surgeons/podiatrists of the Orthopedic Service Line with access to expert clinical resources in adult reconstruction, hand surgery, oncology, trauma, foot & ankle, shoulder, elbow, pediatrics, and sports medicine. The OSL provides support for clinicians across the state, to build relationships, share experiences, and consult on cases and includes an annual educational event.
