Office Assistant At Highland High School
The principal function is to assist the full-time registrar performing school-based duties associated with registering and withdrawing high school students to and from school. The rate of pay will be $16.78 per hour. Position will start as soon as possible. Must be a strong team player with a positive, flexible attitude, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills helping with the following:
- Perform school-based duties associated with registering and withdrawing high school students to and from school.
- Contributing to the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all present and past student records with a high level of attention to detail with focus on quality while working in a high volume environment.
- Helping maintain the record keeping and filing system for all student cumulative files.
- Track student satisfaction of graduation, STEM, and NHS requirements and compliance.
- Track student compliance for both good student discounts and attendance required VOCs.
- Accurately operate the Infinite Campus computer database to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data.
- Maintains a professional atmosphere in the registrars office by greeting and assisting staff, students, and visitors.
- Answers the telephone; takes messages; provides information and assistance to students, staff, parents, district personnel, and the public. In addition to communicating customer friendly messaging as needed via email or in person.
- Must be able to work with job-related software such as Word, Excel, or others.
The position will be working in the Registrars Office at Highland High School. Current employees that are interested in a transfer must apply through APPLITRACKS - internal application. They must also upload a letter of interest, resume. Skills testing will be required for all finalists. The skills tests will include Excel 2010 and basic office skills.
