The Epic OpTime and Anesthesia Analyst is responsible for the implementation, development, programming and overall support of the clinical systems. This role will work closely with the vendor and end-users to develop and enhance the software to increase the overall needs of the organization. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for thoroughly testing all system upgrades, system changes prior to go-live and work with the end-users to test and determine the impact on workflow, reporting, etc. of the upgrade/change
  • Documenting changes/updates to the SNOW and presenting at Epic Change Mgt meetings
  • Provides on-call support on a 9-week rotating basis from 4:30 pm to 8 am (ET) as needed to support the users and assure system function (on call rotation covers all of these apps - Beaker, Anesthesia, Lumens, OpTime, Radiant. We use "Whats App" to get help from a "phone a friend" if needed while on call)
  • Monitors SNOW for tickets (Incidents and SCTASKS) and triages clinical calls with appropriate priority levels and status updates
  • Accurately report time worked on tasks/project in SNOW
  • Willing to be cross trained and certified in Lumens &/or Radiant applications
  • Anesthesia:
    • SmartPhrase maintenance or creation
    • Anesthesia Notes
    • Process Access Requests for new staff (SER and EMP)
    • DataCaptor/Neuron device monitoring
  • OpTime:
    • Process Access Requests for new staff (SER and EMP)
    • WHO checklist updates
    • Create base procedures
    • Create/update Instruments, Equipment, Trays
    • Run morning reports
    • Hybrid Room expansion/updates
  • Project: Moving from 1 ORP:M CPT to a 1:1
  • Communications:
    • Excellent Customer Service
    • Acts as a liaison between the end-user community and the IT department
    • Effectively manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to deliver presentations to a diverse group of key stakeholders and customers
    • Team Player
    • Maintains and monitors calendar and attends scheduled meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, active Epic accreditation or certification in at least one area: OpTime and/or Anesthesia
  • 5+ years of experience with Epic
  • 2+ years of experience supporting OpTime Anesthesia applications
  • Demonstrated direct client healthcare domain knowledge such as Periop workflows and Anesthesia workflows
  • Ability to participate in on-call after-hours rotation. Estimated 9-week rotating basis from 4:30 pm to 8 am (ET) as needed to support the users and ensure system function
  • Ability to participate in projects and upgrades requiring after hours availability as business needs dictate (for Epic Upgrades, implementations, other application upgrades)
  • Willing/able to travel approximately 25% of the time as business needs dictate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Beaker, Anesthesia, Lumens, OpTime, and/or Radiant
  • Ability to demonstrate cross-team communication
  • Experience with device integration and/or Capsule
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
