We are currently seeking a full-time Civil/Municipal Engineer to sit in any of our office locations. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $75,000-$120,000

RESPONSIBILITIES

n
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
n
• Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.
n
• Work with Construction Observers/ Technicians during all facets of construction.
n
• Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule.
n

REQUIREMENTS

n
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required
n
• Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience /desired
n
• Illinois PE license or EIT certification or ability to obtain either within 6 months
n
• Previous roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers and water distribution design experience desired
n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
