A Sr. Electrical Engineer to manage and oversee Electrical engineering projects of various sizes and complexity for residential and commercial projectsnRequired:nnUndergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering discipline is preferred.nOther professional qualifications will be considered coupled with relevant experiencenRegistration as a Professional Engineer (P.E) and LicensednCompletion of a degree or diploma in project management will be considered an assetnLEED accreditation is an assetnExperience and Requirements:n5+ years of industry related experiencenConsulting engineering background is preferrednStrong understanding of engineering contractors, suppliers, and manufacturersnMechanical and Electrical coordination experiencenConstruction experience will be considered an assetnDemonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methodsnFlexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlinesnHighly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skillsnAdvanced interpersonal, team building, leadership, and organizational skillsnAble to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper managementnAble to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholdersnnJob Responsibilities:nnManage and oversee Electrical engineering projects of various sizes and complexity for residential and commercial projectsnPrepare the concept design and complete load calculations, schematics, equipment selection and system concept reportnDesign Electrical systems including but not limited to electrical distribution, transfer switching, UPS, grounding and bonding, lighting and control systems, life safety and emergency systems, and fire alarm.nDesign for ICAT services including but not limited to communication systems, AV systems, security access and monitoring systems, equipment, and structured cabling.nWrite construction specificationsnAnalyze customer design proposals and specifications to determine cost effective solutionsnEnsure professional quality services in all facets of worknCoach and mentor a project team to ensure technical accuracy of project deliverablesnManage a team to ensure cost effective, safe, and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectationsnManage project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, documentation, and other factors necessary for successnWork with clients to deliver the end projectnPrepare and review specification and concept reportsnProvide mentoring to technical staff, assigning duties as requirednVisit the site once under construction when requirednProvide quality and cost control during the design and construction processnMaintain project schedules and project cost summaries to track work progress, budget status, and manpower resource utilizationnEscalate and identify the need for additional services and feesnAssist with Shop drawing reviews as requirednOvertime as requirednnSalary Range: $90k/yr. - $150k/yr.
